St. Louis-area state senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal posted profanity-laced tweets Thursday aimed at Gov. Jay Nixon, a fellow Democrat.
Chappelle-Nadal has marched in some of the demonstrations in Ferguson, Mo., where tensions between residents and police grew dramatically after an unarmed black teenager was shot and killed by police.
“You don’t know s--t bc you never communicate. F--- you, Governor!” one tweet said, although the profane words were spelled out in the post.
A second tweet: “Get on your knees, Governor. Get ready.”
And: “F--- you, Governor. I’m calling your bulls--t!” Again, the words were spelled in their entirety.
Earlier, Chappelle-Nadal called for a broader investigation into the shooting.
