Shot fired on ATA bus in south Kansas City
A man fired a gun on an ATA bus in Kansas City on Wednesday night, then fled the bus and left the gun behind, police said.
Nobody was struck in the gunfire, which occurred shortly after 9 p.m. near 107th Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard. It is not clear if the shot was accidental. Police are investigating.
