Kansas City homicide victim identified

Police on Wednesday identified a man shot to death in Kansas City early Tuesday as Theodore Bass-Brooks, 20.

Kansas City police said that a disturbance between several people preceded the shooting about 12:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 3600 block of Brooklyn Avenue. Two other young men injured by gunshots went to a hospital in private vehicle before police arrived. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries.
