Jackson County prosecutors on Wednesday accused a 24-year-old Kansas City man of gunning down another man with whom he had a feud.

Daniel L. Wilson faces first-degree murder and armed criminal action charges in the killing of Tyrone London, 24, Friday in the 4600 block of Willow Avenue.

When police arrived about 8:30 a.m., they found London sprawled in the living room, dead from several gunshot wounds.

Family members present during the killing identified Wilson as the shooter, prosecutors said.

According to court records, witnesses told police the two men were in an feud from a previous fight. Wilson arrived at the home Friday morning to pick up the mother of his baby and the child to take them to an appointment. London was sitting on the living room floor changing a baby’s diaper.

As Wilson went upstairs, the two men stared at each other. A short time later, Wilson came down the stairs with a gun in his hand and said to London, “I take your life right now.”

London said he didn’t want anything to happen in front of the children.

One witness said she tried to push London up the flight of stairs. The woman whom Wilson was to take to an appointment tried to get him to leave. Wilson pushed her aside and fired several shots at London.

After London collapsed, Wilson fired several more shots at him.

Wilson drove away in a white Monte Carlo.

After his arrest, he declined to talk to investigators.
