KC homicide victim identified
A man shot to death Wednesday night in southeast Kansas City was identified Thursday as Adrian S. Reed.
Reed, 43, of Kansas City, was shot to death just before 9 p.m. Wednesday while sitting in his car at the intersection of Bannister and James A. Reed roads, according to Kansas City police.
Witnesses told police that Reed and the occupants of another vehicle may have been involved in some type of argument before they pulled next to each other at the intersection. One of the suspects yelled something before shots were fired into Reed’s vehicle, police said.
The occupants of the other vehicle, a man and a woman, sped away heading west on Bannister. Police have not released a description of the suspects and their vehicle.
