Police ID man fatally shot outside south KC apartment complex

Police have identified a man fatally shot Monday night in south Kansas City as Anthony R. Convert, 20.

People in the area heard the sound of shots about 9:15 p.m. and found the wounded Convert outside an apartment complex in the 5600 block of East 84th Terrace.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
