Police ID Gladstone shooting victim
Authorities have identified a 19-year-old man found mortally wounded in the back seat of a vehicle in Gladstone as Marc A. Bogart of Kansas City.
Police found Bogart Monday evening when they responded to a shooting call in the 6900 block of North Bales Avenue. He died later at a hospital.
No arrests have been made. The Metro Squad is continuing to investigate, said Capt. Jeff Self, Metro Squad spokesman.
Police continue to look for two men seen running east from the apartment complex where the shooting occurred. Investigators have not released details of what might have prompted the shooting or why Bogart was the area.
