One dead in south KC shooting

One person was killed and another person was injured in a shooting about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in south Kansas City.

Police said the homicide occurred in the 11800 block of Holiday Drive. That is east of Interstate 49 and south of Longview Road.

The extent of the second person’s injuries was not immediately known.
