Kansas City police say a man has died and a woman was seriously wounded after a shooting early Sunday morning in south Kansas City.
Two people were shot shortly before 5 a.m. at a residence in the 11700 block of Fuller Avenue, east of Interstate 49 and south of Blue Ridge Boulevard.
Police spokesman Darin Snapp said the man, about 30 years old, died at a local hospital and the second victim, a woman about 50 years old, was listed in serious but stable condition. Witnesses said an argument led to the shooting.
A suspect fled on foot but there’s no description at this time.
