Victim in rail grain accident identified
A railroad worker who died Monday after falling into a car load of grain in Kansas City, Kan., was identified Tuesday as James Breedlove. Officials did not provide his city of residence.
Breedlove, 48, was working in the BNSF Railway yard near 42nd Street and Kansas Avenue when the accident occurred Monday morning, according to the Kansas City, Kan., Fire Department.
Grain was being unloaded from the train into a semi-trailer when Breedlove fell in, fire officials said. Rescuers were unable to get to him in time.
