Motorist strikes pedestrian after throwing cooked chicken
Kansas City police arrested a woman Monday evening after she allegedly struck a pedestrian with her vehicle following an argument during which she threw a cooked chicken at the victim.
A witness told police the altercation started when the motorist and the victim began to argue about 8 p.m. in the 3900 block of Jackson Avenue.
The motorist threw a cooked chicken at the victim, drove off, did a U-turn and proceeded back down the street and struck the victim with her vehicle. The woman drove away, but police located the suspect at 39th Street and Kensington Avenue and arrested her.
The victim was treated at a hospital. A condition report was not available.
