Kansas City police have issued an Amber Alert Monday night after a father allegedly took his newborn daughter and made threats to harm her and the baby’s mother.

Police are looking for Amilyah M. Foreman, who was born last month. The baby was last seen at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Amilyah was described as a black female, weighing about 7 pounds. She is 18.5 inches long and has dark hair. She has a scratch near one of her eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow jumpsuit and was in a gray and pink car seat.

Police said they think Amilyah’s father, Robert B. Foreman Jr., 33, took the baby and made the threats.

Foreman is described as a black male with dark skin. He is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has brown eyes, and his black hair is in two thick braids.

Foreman has neck tattoos and typically wears a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, a black baseball hat or beanie, acid-wash jeans or khaki pants and tan boots.

He has access to a dark purple 2002 Yukon Denali with chrome buttercup rims. The vehicle is licensed in Kansas to his other child’s mother.

He also has access to a silver 2000s Ford Taurus with unknown Missouri tags.

Foreman should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the Foreman and Amilyah should call 911.
