Kansas City homicide victim identified

A man shot to death Friday in central Kansas City was identified Monday as Benjamin James of Kansas City.

Kansas City police said that James, 32, was shot Friday afternoon inside a house in the 3300 block of Bales Avenue.

A small child in the house at the time was not injured, according to police.
