KCK police investigating three fresh homicides
Police in Kansas City, Kan., are investigating three fatal shootings in three days.
On Sunday, police responding to a shooting in the 1700 block of Minnesota Avenue found a wounded man in a parking lot about 4:30 a.m. The victim, described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, died at a hospital nearly eight hours later. Police have not released his name.
On Saturday, someone fatally shot Tracy L. Williams, 43, of Kansas City, Kan. Officers found his body about 3:40 a.m. Saturday in a residence in the 1900 block of North 24th Street.
On Friday, 16-year-old Kahif L’ron Hampton of Kansas City, Kan., was shot while in the 800 block of North 70th Terrace. He died Sunday, police said.
