Man fatally shot in Kansas City apartment

Police were investigating a fatal shooting at a Kansas City apartment complex Sunday evening.

Police responded to reports of a shooting about 8:20 p.m. at an apartment complex near 83rd Street and Hillcrest Road.

The victim was fatally shot inside an apartment, police said. No suspect information was available.
