Police identify woman whose body was found outside Kansas City residence

The 42-year-old woman whose body was found outside a residence in the 4400 block of Askew Avenue has been identifed as Lacrisha Duff George, according to Kansas City police.

A city water services worker discovered the body about 9 a.m. Tuesday and alerted authorities. Police have not said how Duff died and no suspects have been arrested.

Police are investigating the woman’s death as a homicide.
