Police identify taxi driver slain in Kansas City neighborhood

Kansas City police have identified a 43-year-old taxi driver found shot to death early Saturday in the 1800 block of Highland Avenue as Said Said.

Officers found him sprawled in the street about 5:30 a.m. after responding to a disturbance call. Said was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.

Police continued to investigate Monday.
