Police investigate body found in Kansas City
Kansas City police investigated a body found Friday in the 2900 block of Myrtle Avenue.
Officers were called to an alley where the body was found about 2:30 p.m. The body belonged to a black woman who appeared to have been dead for a couple of days, police said.
Police found no obvious signs of trauma and said an autopsy would be ordered to determine the cause of death.
