Body found in River Market investigated as suspicious death

Police are investigating a body found in the 300 block of Wyandotte Avenue as a suspicious death.

Officers responded to call to the River Market area at 8:45 a.m. Friday about an unresponsive person. They determined that the person was dead. Investigators were working on the identity but there were no immediate signs of foul play.

Anyone with information about the deceased person is asked to call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
