Kansas City man seriously wounded in shooting dies
Kansas City police said a 56-year-old man who was shot following an argument in the 3800 block of College Avenue has died.
Ewon N. Wright Sr. of Kansas City was found outside the residence about 12:30 p.m. on July 14. Wright was taken to a hospital in critical condition and died Aug. 1, according to police.
At the time of the incident, witnesses told police that the shooter might be at another residence in the 4300 block of Benton Boulevard. After going to that residence, police made several attempts to contact the residents inside, but no one responded. They later searched the home, but they did not find a suspect.
