KCK shooting victim dies at hospital

A man in his early 50s who was shot in Kansas City, Kan., Tuesday afternoon died at a hospital, police said.

The incident occurred about 12:15 p.m. in the 3900 block of Rainbow Boulevard, near the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Police did not release any more details but asked anyone with information to call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-8477.
