Kansas City homicide victim identified

A man shot to death Sunday afternoon in central Kansas City was identified Monday as 37-year-old Christopher Mansaw.

According to police, Mansaw was standing in front of a house in the 3000 block of College Avenue about 1:30 p.m. Sunday when several males approached him and one shot him.

The suspects fled the scene. Mansaw was taken to a hospital where he later was pronounced dead.
