Police identify woman killed in KC home

Police have identified a 27-year-old woman found dead in a home in the 3200 block of East 28th Street as Nicole Appleberry of Kansas City.

Someone requested an ambulance be dispatched to the residence shortly before 10 p.m. Monday. Police found Appleberry dead.

Investigators did not release a cause of death. Police ask anyone with information about the death to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).
