Two plead guilty in interstate prostitution case

KRT

A man and woman admitted in federal court Wednesday that they took an individual across state lines for prostitution.

Milton Charles Wilson, 59, of Kansas City and Kayla Pinkerton, 19, of Lee’s Summit pleaded guilty in separate court appearances to interstate transportation for prostitution in December 2013.

Wilson, also known as “Barbwire,” advertised the victim for prostitution on a website and paid for a motel room at the American Inn in North Kansas City. Wilson took Pinkerton and the victim to several locations in Missouri and Kansas, including two trips to Overland Park.

Pinkerton, also known as “Foxy,” took photographs of the victim and uploaded them to the escort section of the website.

Under a plea agreement with federal authorities, Wilson will be sentenced to 10 year in federal prison without parole. Pinkerton faces up to 10 years in prison without parole.
