Man killed from apparent gunshot wound Friday night

Kansas City police were investigating a fatal shooting late Friday evening that left one man dead.

Police said they responded to a call in the 5500 block of Paseo at about 9:50 p.m.

Officers found a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died hours later.
