Authorities in Lafayette County probe woman’s death

Authorities in Lafayette County are investigating the death of a 42-year-old woman whose body was found early Wednesday along a road south of Odessa.

They identified her as Angela Marie Draper of Lake Lafayette. Her body was found at Lakeview North and Lakeview Drive in Lake Lafayette. A preliminary examination showed no signs of trauma or foul play.

Draper was reported missing from her home Tuesday, prompting a search by sheriff’s deputies. Investigators have interviewed several persons who had recent contact with Draper.
