It’s official.

Sprouts Farmers Market has confirmed it will open in Overland Park’s Nall Hills Shopping Center in the second quarter.

The specialty grocery store chain said it will take a space at 9620 Nall Ave., in part of the former Nuts and Bolts space. Officials with Nall Hills declined to comment.

In mid-2015, Nuts and Bolts said it was closing its 51,000-square-foot Nall Hills store to “seek a more favorable arrangement nearby.” A company official said it is still looking at sites in the area.

Eyemart Express comes to KC

Eyemart Express, a value optical retailer, is entering the Kansas City market with three locations — one in Olathe and two in the Northland.

Most orders are ready in an hour or the same day, depending on the prescription. It offers more than 2,000 different frames, including designer brands like Nike, Eddie Bauer, Fendi, Guess, Calvin Klein, Coach and Armani. Prices start at $29 for two pairs of glasses with single-vision lenses and starting at $69 for two pairs with progressive lenses.

Its frames come with a free one-year frame breakage warranty.

The first store opened in 1990 in Wisconsin. The company is based in Farmers Branch, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. It currently has more than 150 locations in 34 states. It also has locations under the Vision4Less, VisionMart Express and Eyewear Express logos.

The area locations are at 15206 W. 119th St. in Olathe, 8560 N. Church Road near Liberty and at 8924 N.W. Skyview Ave.

Shatto Milk Home Delivery expands Johnson County routes

Matt Shatto, son of the founders of Shatto Milk Co. in Osborn, Mo., launched Shatto Milk Home Delivery in 2015 and has been quickly expanding his routes.

They now include the Leavenworth area, parts of the Northland, Leawood, Olathe, Overland Park and Prairie Village, all based on customer response.

The new routes now rolling out include parts of Mission Hills and more areas of Leawood south of Interstate 435.

Delivery customers can place recurring orders online and can add or delete items each week. They can order a variety of Shatto products, as well as a variety of locally made and produced products, including farm-fresh eggs, freshly roasted coffee, bread, meat, greens, pasta and sauces, and more.

It also recently started carrying a sunflower seed cookie by Parkville’s Grace’s Best Cookies and will soon add bagels, hummus and fresh vegetables.
