Belton
11/10/17 13:59 58/NORTH SCOTT, BELTON
On Nov. 10 at approximately 1359 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Missouri 58 and North Scott Avenue on a black Mercedes Benz with stolen Missouri license plates. A subject was placed into custody for active Cass County felony narcotics warrants, and the stolen plates were recovered.

On Nov. 10 at approximately 1655 hours, a deputy was dispatched to meet the Department of Family Services in the 19000 block of South Ash Street in Belton to follow up on information received by that agency.
11/10/17 20:29 D HWY/183RD ST, BELTON
On Nov. 10 at approximately 2029 hours, a deputy contacted a male riding a bike for a pedestrian check at Missouri D and 183rd Street. Through further investigation, one male was arrested on a warrant.
11/11/17 20:40 SB HOLMES/155, BELTON
On Nov. 11, a deputy attempted to stop a black Toyota truck with a Missouri license plate on Missouri D at 155th Street. The vehicle fled from the stop and no apprehension was made.
11/12/17 00:46 CROWN PARK, BELTON
On Nov. 12 at approximately 0046 hours, a deputy was dispatched to a disturbance in the 7300 block of Crown Park in Belton. Through an investigation, one female was taken into custody and taken to the Cass County jail.
Cleveland
11/06/17 01:31 MAIN ST, CLEVELAND
On Nov. 6 while patrolling the Cleveland area, a deputy located several storage units in the area that were broken into. The owner of the units was contacted and responded to the scene. No suspects have been identified.
11/08/17 14:05 TRAIL RIDGE PASS, CLEVELAND
On Nov. 8 at approximately 1408 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 23900 block of Trail Ridge Pass in Cleveland in reference to recovered property. A 2013 Cargo trailer stolen from Belton was recovered at the scene. An owner has been identified.

On Nov. 12 at approximately 1139 hours, while conducting patrol in the area of Prospect Avenue and Missouri Y, a deputy stopped a vehicle, and a subject was issued a summons.
Drexel
11/12/17 01:13 MAIN ST, DREXEL
On Nov. 12 at 0117 hours, a deputy responded to a fight involving around 20 people at a bar in the 100 block of East Main Street in Drexel. The deputy assisted a Drexel police officer. The incident resulted in the arrest of two subjects by the Drexel Police Department.

On Nov. 6 at approximately 0958 hours, a deputy conducted a residence check in the 28100 block of East 245th Street near Harrisonville in reference to a subject with an active Cass County warrant. Austin Mattox was taken into custody and taken to the Cass County jail for failure to appear on a felony charge for resisting/interfering with arrest.
11/09/17 16:01 STATE ROUTE EE, EAST LYNNE
On Nov. 9, a deputy conducted a burglary investigation in the 23900 block of East Missouri EE near Harrisonville. The deputy made contact with the homeowner, who stated she came home to the garage door open. The homeowner said several things were missing from inside the residence. No suspects have been identified at this time.

11/07/17 07:30 GUNN CITY RD, GARDEN CITY
On Nov. 7 at approximately 0732 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 39400 block of East Gunn City Road in Garden City in reference to a report of property damage. The reporting party stated he observed damage to his residence believed to have been caused by a bullet. The investigation had not determined a point of origin at the time of this report.

On Nov. 10 at approximately 1649 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 34800 block of East 275th Street in Garden City in reference to a report of a disturbance in progress. While en route, dispatch said one subject had left the residence. The reporting party stated she was pushed and another subject was knocked down. A suspect has been identified.

On Nov. 7, a deputy assisted the Grandview Police Department with a K-9 sniff of a vehicle at the intersection of 154th Terrace and Bellaire Avenue. There was no alert observed on the exterior of the vehicle.

On Nov. 8 at approximately 0920 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 19200 block of East 231st Street in Harrisonville in reference to found property. A .380 caliber handgun was recovered. An owner has not been located at this time.

On Nov. 9 while making a deposit at County Club Bank for the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was notified that it contained two counterfeit $20 bills. A suspect has been identified.

On Nov. 10 at 2348 hours, a deputy performed a traffic stop on Washington Street next to South Commercial Street in Harrisonville. Christopher M. Standley was arrested for an active Jackson County warrant. Standley was taken to the Cass County jail without incident.

On Nov. 11 at 0037 hours, a deputy responded to a call of a domestic disturbance in the 29600 block of South Missouri DD in Harrisonville. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a male who had been assaulted by a family member. A suspect was arrested for domestic assault.

On Nov. 11 at approximately 1549 hours, a deputy contacted a male who stated he was being followed by numerous subjects he did not know. He stated these subjects had followed him from his home in Leavenworth, Kan. to the Harrisonville area. No suspects have been identified in this case.

On Nov. 12 at approximately 1610 hours, a deputy assisted the Division of Family Services in conducting an investigation at a residence in the 25500 block of East 267th Street in rural Harrisonville in regard to a hotline received by DFS. The subject in regard to their investigation was located.

On Nov. 6 at approximately 1731 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 13100 block of East Cemetery Road in Peculiar for stealing. The reporting party said a power generator was stolen from a work vehicle at the residence during night hours.

On Nov. 8 at approximately 1122 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 11900 block of East 239th Street in Peculiar in reference to stolen property. The victim reported items taken from his residence. A suspect has not been identified.

On Nov. 11 at approximately 1743 hours, a deputy conducted an investigation at the Peculiar Police Department, 224 Main St. in Peculiar, in regard to a report of a license plate being stolen off of a vehicle. The victim stated that she believed the license plate was stolen while the vehicle was at her residence in the 13100 block of East Cemetery Road in rural Peculiar. No suspect information is available at this time.

On Nov. 12, a deputy responded to the 7600 block of Missouri YY in Peculiar on a call of suspicious activity.

On Nov. 6 at approximately 0214 hours, a deputy responded to the 17400 block of South Missouri 291 near Pleasant Hill in regard to an alarm call. Upon arrival, the deputy found the front door glass broken out in an attempt to steal an ATM machine inside. No suspects have been identified.

On Nov. 10 at 2042, a deputy was dispatched to the area of South Gray Drive and 175th Street in reference to a female walking on the roadway barefoot. At 2137 hours, Jessie M. Morrison was arrested on an active Belton warrant. Morrison was taken to the Belton jail without incident.
11/11/17 00:44 MO 7 HWY, PLEASANT HILL
On Nov. 11 at approximately 0044 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Missouri 7 between Harrisonville and Pleasant Hill regarding a possible drunk driver. The deputy found the vehicle parked on the southbound side of Missouri 7, just north of Missouri P. One female was placed into custody for driving under the influence.
11/11/17 14:15 STATE ROUTE 7, PLEASANT HILL
On Nov. 11 at approximately 1420 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 22200 block of Missouri 7 in Pleasant Hill in reference to a report of suspicious activity. Larry Denham was contacted and taken into custody on an active Pleasant Hill warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation. Denham was taken to the Pleasant Hill Police Department for processing.

On Nov. 12 at 1847 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 17600 block of South Gray Drive in reference to a disturbance in progress. Robert J. Morrison was arrested for fourth-degree domestic assault.

On Nov. 8 at approximately 0831 hours, a deputy was dispatched to a phone call in reference an incident involving an animal in the area of the 1100 block of Jerry Avenue in Raymore. The reporting party said her dog was attacked.
