On Sept. 21 at approximately 2112 hours, a deputy responded to the 700 block of Jackson Avenue in Archie in regard to stealing. No suspects have been identified.

On Sept. 19 at approximately 1423 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle check at Peculiar Drive and Cass Parkway on a blue Ford Ranger. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine.

On Sept. 19 at 1830 hours, a deputy was dispatched to an information phone call only. The deputy made phone contact with a male who advised someone had stolen 100 gallons of diesel fuel out of one of the tractors that was parked near Cambridge Road on Prospect Avenue.

On Sept. 22 at approximately 1310 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 1000 block of East 183rd Street in Belton in reference to a stealing. The reporting party said a weed-eater was stolen out of his front yard by subjects in an older model white pickup truck. No suspects have been identified.

On Sept. 23 at approximately 0406 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop at QuikTrip in Belton on a green pickup truck for expired license plates. The driver was arrested on an active Grandview warrant.

On Sept. 23 at approximately 1940 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the report of a burglary in the 19200 block of Missouri Y outside of Belton. Upon arrival, the deputy contacted the victim who reported her house had been burglarized.

On Sept. 19 at 2349 hours, a deputy responded to the 200 block of K Street in Creighton in reference to a residence check for a wanted party. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with a male who allowed for deputies to check the residence. The search was met with negative results. A piece of evidence from a Peculiar police investigation was recovered and transported to the Peculiar Police Department.

On Sept. 23, a deputy was involved in a vehicle pursuit on South Tieman Road near Missouri 7. A suspect has been arrested.

On Sept. 18 at approximately 2239 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle check in the area of Missouri O and Freeman Park on a black Dodge that was parked in the roadway. The driver was arrested for an active Cass County warrant and transported to the jail.

On Sept. 18 at 2107 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Missouri 2 and O’Bannon Road in reference to a motorist assist. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Mark T. Cobb, who had an active warrant for his arrest from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. Cobb was taken into custody on this warrant.

On Sept. 20 at approximately 1759 hours, a deputy was contacted by a female subject located in the 35300 block of East 291st Street in Garden City, Mo. in reference to stealing. The reporting party stated someone broke into her outbuilding and stole items. No suspects have been identified.

On Sept. 20 at approximately 2045 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Old Missouri 7 in Garden City, Mo. regarding a theft from a storage unit. Through an investigation, it was determined items were missing. There is no suspects identified at this time.

On Sept. 19, a deputy conducted a stealing/property damage investigation in the 23300 block of South Camp Branch Road in Harrisonville. The deputy made contact with the reporting party who said the windshield on his 1990 Toyota Tacoma had bee broken and his 1998 Chevrolet Malibu was taken. The Malibu was located on the property and was not actually stolen. A suspect has been identified in this investigation.

On Sept. 19 at approximately 1433 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 28400 block of South Missouri DD in Harrisonville in reference to a report of burglary. The reporting party said multiple items were stolen from this residence. No suspects have been identified.

On Sept. 20 at approximately 2109 hours, a deputy conducted a residence check in the 17600 block of East 227th Street in Harrisonville in reference to a warrant service. Clyde Ethington was taken into custody on Cass County warrant for 15 counts of possession of child pornography. The Cass County prosecutor’s office filed the charges on Sept. 7. Bond was set at $10,000. An arraignment is scheduled Nov. 16.

On Sept. 21 at approximately 0539 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 27600 block of South West Outer Road in Harrisonville regarding a suspicious person. While conducting an investigation, it was determined one male subject had an active Henry County warrant and was taken into custody.

On Sept. 21 at approximately 2022 hours, a residence check was conducted in the 23300 block of South Camp Branch Road in Harrisonville in an attempt to contact a female subject with active felony Cass County warrants. Jillian Littge was located and taken into custody on a warrant for failure to appear on a first-degree kidnapping charge and tampering with a motor vehicle, on a warrant for failure to appear on a tampering with a motor vehicle charge, and on a warrant for failure to appear on a stealing charge.

On Sept. 21, a deputy was dispatched to the 19200 block of East 231st Street in Harrisonville for a report of a disturbance. The reporting party stated a male refused to leave and threatened to stab him. A suspect was located and arrested for outstanding warrants.

On Sept. 19 at approximately 0600 hours, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 49 southbound at the mile marker 163. The driver, Nalin Alexander, was arrested on an active warrant out of Independence for failure to appear on a shoplifting charge. Bond was set at $2,000.

On Sept. 23 at approximately 2345 hours, a deputy attempted to conduct a vehicle stop in the area of northbound Interstate 49 near mile marker 169.8 on a black Pontiac car for displaying plates of another vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit ensued. The driver was later taken into custody.

On Sept. 21 at approximately 2146 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 17000 block of Gray Drive in Pleasant Hill in regard to a possible disturbance. While conducting an investigation, one male was taken to the Cass County jail.

On Sept. 22, a deputy conducted a burglary investigation in the 35000 block of East Missouri VV in Pleasant Hill. The deputy made contact with the victim, who advised he came home and observed someone had broken out a window on the south side of the residence. The victim said numerous items were taken from inside the house. No suspects have been identified at this time.

On Sept. 23, a deputy investigated a report of property damage to a vehicle that occurred in the 32600 block of East Missouri VV in Pleasant Hill. The deputy made contact with the victim who stated her vehicle was parked outside the residence overnight. The victim said during that time, someone damaged the driver’s side door. No suspects have been identified at this time.

On Sept. 18 at 2350 hours, a deputy initiated an investigative traffic stop at the intersection of Missouri 58 and North Crest on a black Kia Optima. The male passenger was arrested for two active warrants out of Cass County, each for failing to appear on the charge of driving while revoked and each having a bond of $5,000.

On Sept. 19 at approximately 1651 hours, a deputy responded to the 19000 block of South School Road near Raymore in reference to a death. The deceased party was released to the Jackson Medical Examiner’s Office.
09/24/17 02:02 FREDERICK LN, RAYMORE
On Sept. 24 at 0205 hours, a deputy was dispatched to 177th Terrace and Franklin Drive outside of Raymore to assist the Missouri State Highway Patrol on a motor vehicle crash where the driver had left the scene. Upon arrival, the driver was located, detained and released to the MSHP trooper.
