Belton

09/11/17 12:44 187TH ST, BELTON

On Sept. 11 at approximately 1244 hours, a deputy contacted Trooper Baughman who had recovered a stolen auto from Truman Lake. Through an investigation, it was determined a vehicle had been stolen from the owner’s residence located in the 6400 block of East 187th Street in rural Belton.

On Sept. 11 at approximately 2057 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 16000 block of South Country Club Drive for an ex parte violation. Upon arrival, the deputy contacted the victim who stated that a full order of protection she was granted had been violated. A suspect was identified.

09/13/17 16:24 164TH TER, BELTON

On Sept. 13 at approximately 1625 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of 164th Terrace in Belton in reference to a domestic assault. An investigation revealed an assault had occurred. One subject was taken into custody.

09/13/17 20:42 D/203, BELTON

On Sept. 13 at approximately 2042 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Missouri D and East 203rd Street for a license plate light violation. The stop resulted in the arrest of a male subject for possession of more than 35 grams of marijuana, distribution/sale of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of hallucinogens, manufacture of hallucinogen and possession of marijuana synthetic cannabis.

On Sept. 16 at approximately 0804 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the Oasis Community Trailer Park in the 5800 block of East 187th Street in Belton. The deputy responded to several residences and obtained information for vehicle damage and theft. A suspect has not been identified.

09/15/17 12:24 195TH/PECULIAR DR

On Sept. 15 at approximately 1225 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle check in the area of Peculiar Drive and 195th Street. A green 2000 Ford Expedition was observed to be driving on 195th Street with no license plates. The vehicle was contacted when it stopped to work on a broken down vehicle. Steven Shive was found to have active Grandview warrants and was released to Grandview officers after an arrest.

Cleveland

09/15/17 22:08 PROSPECT AVE, CLEVELAND

On Sept. 15 at approximately 2210 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 24900 block of South Prospect Avenue in Cleveland for a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who stated someone attempted to gain entry into his house. A suspect was identified and placed in custody.

Creighton

On Sept. 12 at approximately 1534 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 34000 block of South Rocky Road in Creighton in reference to a report of a burglary. The victim stated someone had entered into her residence and stole some items. A suspect has not been identified.

On Sept. 15 at approximately 1111 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of K Street in Creighton in reference to a report of a disturbance. The victim stated he was assaulted by another male subject. A suspect has been identified.

09/17/17 14:59 K ST, CREIGHTON

On Sept. 17 at approximately 1509 hours, a deputy was dispatched to meet a Peculiar police detective in the 200 block of K Street in Creighton in reference to recovering stolen property from an armed robbery. The detective and deputy contacted a male who provided the requested items.

Drexel

09/12/17 01:58 A/INDUSTRIAL, DREXEL

On Sept. 12 at approximately 0159 hours, a deputy was involved in a vehicle pursuit on Missouri A near Ponderosa Street in Drexel. The pursuit ended at Missouri A and Industrial Drive where one suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Cass County Jail.

On Sept. 13 at approximately 1000 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Mikes 71 Cycles in the 800 block of South Commercial Street in Harrisonville in reference to a report of property damage. The victim reported three four-wheeler tires were slashed at his residence in Freeman the night before. A suspect was identified.

Garden City

09/16/17 15:22 GUM ST, GARDEN CITY

On Sept. 16 at approximately 1526 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Gum Street in Garden City in reference to a report of stealing. The victim stated someone stole the license plates from her vehicle. A suspect has been identified.

Harrisonville

09/12/17 11:18 TIEMAN RD, HARRISONVILLE

On Sept. 12 at approximately 1126 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 27000 block of South Tieman Road in Harrisonville in reference to a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim stated her vehicle had been stolen from her driveway. A suspect has been identified.

09/12/17 20:08 CVS, HARRISONVILLE

On Sept. 12, a deputy responded to the area of Missouri 7 and I-49 in reference to a careless and imprudent vehicle. The deputy located the vehicle in the area of Commercial Street and Brookhart Drive, and stopped the vehicle on Commercial Street at Wall Street. The driver was placed in custody for driving while intoxicated. A suspect has been identified and contacted in this incident.

09/14/17 22:16 264TH ST, HARRISONVILLE

On Sept. 14 at 2216 hours, a deputy responded to the 13900 block of East 264th Street in reference to a check-the-welfare call. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a dark blue Chevrolet Impala that drove away after striking the deputy’s patrol vehicle. The Impala allegedly attempted to strike a deputy as well. The vehicle was pursued until it left the roadway at 263rd Street and Missouri 2. One person was taken into custody.

On Sept. 15, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop on northbound I-49 at mile marker 161. The driver was arrested on an active and extraditable warrant out of Cole County.

09/16/17 10:04 239TH ST, HOLDEN

On Sept. 16 at approximately 1009 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 39000 block of East 239th Street in Holden in reference to a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim stated the rental truck he was issued was stolen along with personal belongings inside the vehicle. A suspect has not been identified.

Kingsville

On Sept. 12, 2017 at approximately 1243 hours, a deputy was dispatched to 2501 W. Mechanic St. in Harrisonville in reference to a walk-in report of property damage. The victim stated someone damaged the doors on her Morton building. A suspect has not been identified.

On Sept. 11 at approximately 1041 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 21000 block of South Countryside Drive in rural Peculiar for a dog bite. The dog bite occurred on Briar Road and was reported by a female victim.

On Sept. 11 at approximately 1718 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 25000 block of South Missouri C in Peculiar regarding a burglary. Through an investigation, it was determined several items were taken. A suspect has not been identified at this time.

09/11/17 17:54 WINDRIDGE RD, PECULIAR

On Sept. 11 at approximately 1815 hours, a deputy was dispatched to contact a female in reference to a missing dog. The female stated her dog was missing, and she believed someone had stolen it. No suspects have been identified at this time.

09/17/17 20:51 CARTER RD, PECULIAR

On Sept. 17 at approximately 2108 hours, a deputy responded to the 22000 block of South Carter Road in Peculiar in reference to a welfare check of a female who had driven into a yard. The subject was arrested pending charges for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Cass County jail.

Pleasant Hill

On Sept. 12, 2017 at approximately 1403 hours, a deputy was dispatched to Murray Road in Pleasant Hill in reference to a report of burglary. The victim stated someone broke into her trailer home and stole several items. A suspect has not been identified.

09/13/17 12:27 UNKNOWN, PLEASANT HILL

On Sept. 13, a deputy responded to the front lobby of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a walk-in report of an ex parte violation. The deputy made contact with the reporting party who said she has been contacted by a subject she has an active ex parte against through Bates County. The reporting party also reported a past assault by the same subject. A suspect has been identified in this investigation.

Raymore

09/12/17 21:19 HUBACH HILL RD, RAYMORE

On Sept. 12 at approximately 2150 hours, a deputy took an informational report in regard to a well-dressed black male in his mid-60s allegedly posing as a Medicare representative in the 1100 block of West Hubach Hill Road in Raymore. At this time, the sheriff’s office said no crime has occurred; however, the agency said the subject did get Social Security numbers and other information from the reporting parties.

09/14/17 18:02 49/CASS PARKWAY, RAYMORE

On Sept. 14, a deputy spoke with a victim via telephone who reported a road rage incident that started near I-49 and North Cass Parkway. The victim stated a white male pointed a firearm at him on I-49 near Peculiar Way.

09/16/17 16:12 58/ORIELYS, RAYMORE

On Sept. 16 at approximately 1612 hours, a deputy conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Missouri 58 and Madison Avenue in Raymore. The deputy said the vehicle was displaying an invalid license plate. Brian Tyson was placed into custody after being found to have a suspended license and having a controlled substance in the vehicle.

09/17/17 10:56 MULLEN AVE, RAYMORE

On Sept. 17 at approximately 1056 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 1400 block of North Mullen Avenue in Raymore for a report of stealing. An investigation led to the 1500 block of North Mullen Avenue where a 1998 Ford F-150 and a black 14-foot trailer were recovered. Christopher Lusk was placed into custody and transported to the Cass County jail.

09/17/17 21:19 LYNE AVE, RAYMORE

On Sept. 17 at approximately 2121 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 1500 block of North Lyne Avenue in Raymore in reference to a burglary. The victim had a few small items taken from his vacant residence. Suspects have not been identified.

Strasburg

09/14/17 23:26 3RD ST, STRASBURG

On Sept. 14 at approximately 2328 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the report of a burglary in progress in the 300 block of North Third Street in Strasburg. Upon arrival, the deputy contacted the victim who stated a white male subject had attempted to force entry into the residence. A suspect has not yet been identified.

09/17/17 04:00 58 HWY, STRASBURG

On Sept. 17 at approximately 0408 hours, a deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of East Missouri 58 in reference to a stealing of a four-wheeler. A possible suspect was identified.
