Wave of pink hits the streets of KC for Race for the Cure

About 10,000 people, many adorned in pink attire, hit the streets of Kansas City as part of the Susan G. Komen Greater Kansas City Race for the Cure. The event raises awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer. This year marks the 23rd year for the event, which includes a 5K run, 1-mile run/walk, survivor parade and expo.
