Bates City, Mo., woman, 34, dies in collision with tractor-trailer
A 34-year-old Bates City, Mo., woman died Wednesday evening in a collision with a tractor-trailer.
Christina M. Wilson died in the crash that occurred about 5:30 p.m. when she was driving along Missouri Route F at White Road near Oak Grove, Mo., according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Two young boys also sustained serious injuries in the crash and were taken to a hospital.
The initial crash report indicates that Wilson’s 1993 Honda, which was westbound on White Road, traveled into the path of the semi, which was northbound on Route F.
The two boys were not wearing safety devices at the time of the crash. It was unknown whether Wilson was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
The driver of the semi sustained minor injuries.
