Minor injuries for KCFD firefighter after early morning fire
A Kansas City Fire Department firefighter was taken to the hospital for minor neck injuries after an early morning fire began in an abandoned two-story house on the 3500 block of Indiana Avenue, according to media reports.
The fire began just before 4 a.m. and was extinguished. No one else was injured, or believed to be in the house at the time.
An investigation continues.
