Olathe woman accused of huffing gas is charged with murder in fatal wreck
A 25-year-old Olathe woman accused of huffing gas before a fatal wreck last August has been charged with murder.
Angeline B. Shelor is charged with second-degree murder, reckless driving and abusing toxic vapors in connection with the Aug. 20, 2015, crash.
Shelor was involved in a head-on collision that killed 77-year-old Lelia Roberts at Dennis Avenue, just west of Church Street.
The wreck left Shelor in critical condition. Charges were filed against her Tuesday.
Bond was set at $500,000.
Shelor was in custody at the Johnson County jail Tuesday, with a court appearance scheduled for Wednesday.
