One killed, two injured in single-car accident in Kansas City
One person was killed and another suffered serious injuries late Saturday in a one-vehicle accident in Kansas City.
Kansas City police said that around 11 p. m. the driver of a black Honda Civic lost control of the vehicle near 26th Street and Oakley Avenue. The car struck a tree.
A passenger in the back seat died shortly after arrival at an area hospital, police said. The passenger in the front seat suffered serious injuries. The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
