Liberty Memorial is officially the national memorial to World War I
Liberty Memorial is now officially designated the National World War I Museum and Memorial.
That was a provision within the defense budget bill passed by both houses of Congress and signed by President Barack Obama on Friday.
In a compromise, Pershing Park in Washington D.C. is also designated as a national memorial to the Great War.
