‘Die-in’ protest of police held Sunday at Crown Center
There were no incidents reported during a Sunday afternoon protest at Crown Center.
The peaceful protest of recent events in New York, Cleveland and Ferguson, Mo., started at Washington Square Park across Pershing Road from Crown Center.
The group walked to Union Station and then to the shops at Crown Center. There, protesters staged a “die-in,” as about 25 people lay on the floor for several minutes while others in the group stood around them holding signs.
A number of officers stood by during the protest, and police said that no arrests were made.
