Two men dead after early morning shooting in Kansas City
Kansas City police are investigating the shooting deaths of two men early Saturday at a service station at Van Brunt Boulevard and Independence Avenue.
Shortly after midnight, police officers responded to a call about gunshots in the 4800 block of Independence Avenue. When police arrived, they found two male victims at a BP station suffering from bullet wounds. Emergency medical responders said both victims died at the scene.
Police released photos of two men and a vehicle that investigators think were in the area when the shooting occurred.
Police asked anyone with information about the case to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
The identities of the men have not been released by police.
