Police identify suicide victim found at Park Place shopping center

An autopsy Monday confirmed suicide was the cause of death for a man whose body was found Sunday at a Leawood shopping center.

Police on Monday identified the man as 48-year-old Blaine A. Tucker of Leawood. His body was found Sunday afternoon outside Park Place in the 11600 block of Ash Street.

The Star typically does not report on suicides, except if they occur in public places or involve well-known people.

Tucker and his brother, businessman and race car driver Scott Tucker, are defendants in a lawsuit filed in Nevada by the Federal Trade Commission over the dealings of their payday loan business, AMG Services Inc.
