Glitch with bungee cord led to KC Wolf’s accident

Tim Dollar, attorney for Dan Meers, the Chiefs’ KC Wolf mascot, said his client suffered serious injuries and underwent surgery following a practice for a skit Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. Dollar said Meers, 46, was to descend onto the field before Sunday’s game against San Diego from a bungee cord, a riskier maneuver than his rousing entrance onto the field from a zip line prior to the home opener against Dallas in September.
