Man’s body found in Missouri River in Sibley, Mo.

The body of a middle-aged man was discovered Sunday afternoon in the Missouri River in Sibley, Mo.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to the Homer’s Landing boat ramp about 1 p.m. and found the man’s body.

Authorities are trying to identify the man. There was no identification found on him, authorities said.

The Jackson County medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy.
