Investigation underway after man found dead in Waldo donation bin, KC police say
A man was found dead in a donation bin in Waldo on Thursday evening, and police are investigating, a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department said.
Police were called to the intersection of West 72nd Street and Wornall Road around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday after a body was found there partially in a bin, said Sergeant Phil DiMartino, a spokesman for the department. Kansas City Fire Department personnel pronounced the man deceased.
Medical examiners will rule on what caused the man’s death, DiMartino said.
