Torrential rains from storms that have moved through the Kansas City area have caused several creeks and rivers to flood.

As of 3 p.m. Thursday, 17 gauges indicated flooding, including Stranger Creek at Easton in Kansas; and the Fishing River near Mosby, the Crooked River near Richmond, the Blackwater River near Valley City, and several points along the Missouri River in Missouri.

The red locations on the map indicate moderate flooding; orange indicates minor flooding and yellow indicates near-flood stage. Click on the locations to get the latest observed values.
