Woman, 67, killed in Westwood may have had a medical emergency before crash
A Kansas City, Kan., woman was killed in a Wednesday morning traffic crash in Westwood.
The wreck occurred just after 6 a.m. Wednesday near Westwood City Hall at 47th Place Rainbow Blvd., police said.
The 67-year-old woman may have suffered some type of medical emergency before her car drove across a grassy area and struck a tree, according to Westwood police.
Shawnee police are helping to investigate the crash. The woman’s identity will not be released until her family has been notified.
