Kansas City Road Works: Expect closures at Renner and K-10

UPDATE: KDOT now plans the project start date to be Tuesday, April 14, not Saturday, April 11.

Navigating the busy Renner Boulevard interchange with Kansas 10 will get more complicated on Tuesday and remain that way for most of the summer.

All lanes of Renner Boulevard at K-10 will close, as will the exit ramp from eastbound K-10 to Renner and the entrance ramp from Renner to eastbound K-10.

The closures are needed to reconstruct the ramps and the Renner Boulevard surface. Renner traffic will be rerouted to Lackman Road.

The ramps are expected to reopen in August and Renner is expected to reopen in September.
