Four people are injured in hit-and-run accident in Lawrence

Four people went to the hospital after they were hurt in a hit-and-run accident in Lawrence early Friday.

According to media reports, four people were in a car when it stalled near the McDonald’s on 23rd Street near Louisiana about 1 a.m. Friday. The three men and one woman were trying to push the car out of the street when it was struck.

The woman and one man reportedly sustained serious injuries.
