Man jumps out window to escape early morning house fire in Kansas City
A man jumped out a window of his Kansas City house to escape a fire early Thursday, according to media reports.
The fire was reported about 3:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Bellefontaine Avenue. The house was fully engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived.
The resident was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Investigators were looking into the cause of the fire.
