Driver, students escape Leawood bus fire unharmed
Three people were able to escape a bus fire unharmed Friday in Leawood.
A driver and two students were on the bus about 3 p.m. near 131st Street and High Drive when the bus caught fire.
A witness described hearing a pop three minutes before fire fully engulfed the bus.
The driver was able to safely evacuate the students off the bus.
No injuries were reported.
