Woman dies after late-night KCK house fire
One person died after a Monday night house fire in Kansas City, Kan.
Fire Chief John Paul Jones tweeted Tuesday morning that the fatality was confirmed from the fire in the 2500 block of South 46th Terrace.
The first firefighters on the scene late Monday night reported flames showing.
A woman found upstairs by firefighters was taken to a hospital where she later died.
The fire department has not released a cause of the fire.
