Downtown Kansas City fire knocks out power to 20 KCP&L customers
A fire knocked out power to about 20 KCP&L customers in downtown Kansas City Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported about 1:24 p.m., and affected customers were in an area generally bounded by Broadway and Main Street and 18th to 20th streets, said Rebecca Galati, a spokeswoman for KCP&L.
Crews have restored power to some of the customers affected by the outage.
